About God's Way Ministries
In 1995, God's Way Ministries started with a focus of helping those with drug and alcohol problems. Over time, God's Way has provided transitional housing for the homeless, mentorship and employment to many throughout Delaware. Over the past 20 years, we've expanded our focus to create various outreach programs that help children, single parents and widows. We fund our efforts through thrift stores and provide volunteer and employment opportunities through the operation of the thrift stores. The goal of our ministry is to share and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our various outreach efforts. We also actively support other ministries/outreaches that help those in need with the primary goal of bringing individuals into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God's Way is committed to building the Kingdom of God!
Outreaches include the Benevolence Volunteer Exchange Program--the program offers an opportunity to individuals who need items to acquire them through volunteering at one of the thrift stores; Beds for Kids and Cars for Moms. We are members of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce, and we recently won the Employer of the Year Award from First State Community Action in September of 2015.
